Condition

The original logbooks were lost in an automobile accident in 2012. New ones were then started, reconstituting to the extent possible, and are complete from that date to present. The aircraft has been landed gear up three times, but has been professionally repaired with complete documentation. A visual inspection of the aircraft shows no signs of any airframe damage history.

Exterior

The overall condition of the exterior is good. The finish is very shiny with no areas of missing paint. There are a few minor chips and scratches as to be expected.

Interior

The seats are in good condition. The carpet, side panels and all plastic components are fair.

Message From the Owner

We bought the airplane from a fellow who had to give it up due to advancing age. We were familiar with the owner, the airplane, and its history, and we had the advantage of knowing the local Mooney service agent, who also gave the airplane a thumbs up. We bought the airplane in a co-ownership agreement of five guys, whose aim was to fly for recreational purposes, with perhaps an occasional business trip. That worked well for the past six years, as we all got along together and never had any disruptive issues that sometimes occur with ownership groups. However, over time, four of us have had a growing number of issues involving physical or other personal problems. The final deciding factor occurred when one of our guys made a decision to move out of the local area. I'm talking from Texas to Idaho, so continued membership is not an option. Given all this, we have reluctantly decided to sell an airplane that we all love and have enjoyed flying very much. We want to see her find a good home!

This 1975 Mooney M20C is an awesome find! The airframe is solid and appears well taken care of. The low time factory engine is running great. The plane is IFR equipped with a Garmin 430, an S-Tec 60-2 auto pilot with altitude hold and more. It is loaded with extras such as a one piece belly, flap and aileron gap seals, speed brakes, fuel totalizer, O&N bladders and so much more. If you are looking for a super well-equipped airplane that goes fast while sipping fuel, all on a budget, this is your chance. At this price, it will not be available for very long, so be sure to contact us right away!
