Book 4 Ultra now on sale in China
The Samsung flagship laptop, which features Intel’s yet unreleased CPU series, is already available for purchase in China.
The Book4 Ultra, listed as model “960XGL”, is the latest Windows 11 laptop incorporating the Intel Meteor Lake architecture from Samsung. Rumors suggest that Samsung will provide a range of configurations featuring the Intel Core 100 series within their new Galaxy Book 4 series, with the Ultra variant positioned as the best SKU in the series.
In China, the Core Ultra 7 155H system is already available for purchase at 12,600 RMB (1,780 USD). This price applies to the configuration with discrete GeForce RTX 4050 graphics. The laptop boasts a 2880×1800 OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB storage capacity.
A seller on the Chinese second-hand platform Goofish has confirmed the system’s availability, sharing a picture from Ludashi software to validate the specifications. The laptop is equipped with 32GB of LPDDR5-7467 memory, and the RTX 4050 graphics features 6GB of VRAM.
A different seller has shared an internal design of the identical chassis, indicating a modification in the cooling system. Similarly to the Book 3 Ultra, the system will incorporate a dual-fan cooler design and a vapor chamber sitting on top of the CPU and GPUs. Samsung is set to reveal its Book 4 series on approximately December 14th, aligning with the official launch date of the Intel Core Ultra 100 series. In addition to this, the company is in the process of developing the Book 4 Pro and 360 series, which will be powered by different Core Ultra 100 CPUs.
The company is also developing a Book 4 Ultra-model powered by Core Ultra 9 185H CPU, which will be offered with up to RTX 4070 discrete GPU, this particular variant is said to be offering higher TDP of 45W.
