The Thiel MCS1 Speaker

The Thiel MCS1 features a unique coaxial tweeter/midrange driver where the two drivers' diaphragms share the same voice coil which in turn provides a mechanical crossover. This design along with the 1" aluminum tweeter and 3.5" aluminum mid range driver greatly decreases distortion and increases the accuracy and clarity of the speakers. The two 6.5" aluminum woofers inside the Thiel MCS1 greatly decreases the amount of resonance which improves the speakers overall performance.
Flexibility
The Thiel MCS1 speakers are extremely efficient (90dB). This allows them to be matched with a variety of amplifiers. Also, the design and shape of the speakers allows them to be used for center, main or rear channel uses. The Thiel MCS1 also has a bass response down to 50Hz making them ideal for home theater or stereo sound reproduction.
