TA-3 Series 3 Leveling Base:

A leveling base on your tripod is the perfect foundation for gimbal heads, pano gear, fluid heads and even ballheads. Each leveling base offers 15 degrees of leveling capability and locks solidly with just a twist. Choose a leveling base with a flat platform for direct mounting of a tripod head, or choose a leveling base with a clamp if you want quick-change convenience for multiple tripod heads on the same tripod.

This Leveling Base is for the RRS Versa Series 3.

Remove the top plate from your tripod and replace it with this robust leveling base. Twist the handle to lock and unlock the base. Fluid motion allows smooth and fast leveling, no matter the load. At only 12.2 ounces, this is the lightest leveling base of its class on the market. This leveling base incorporates our TA-3-VB Video Bowl. The leveling base can be removed while leaving the video bowl installed. The video bowl will accept any accessory/head that uses a 75mm Video Bowl.

TA-UPF Leveling Base Platform:

The TA-UPF platform for RRS Leveling bases is the primary connection point for tripod heads and our B2-LR-ll, B2-LLR-ll, B2-PRO-ll, and TA-LBSC dual clamps. This platform features a 3/8"-16,1/4"-20 dual threaded stud screw, compatible with most tripod heads. This will fit on all TA-2/U/3 past and present leveling bases.
