The barometric depression that waa central
over North Dakota on Friday ' morning has
moved northeastward into Canada touching on
the Great Lskes."snd gave showers in that re
gion as well aa in tba northwestern -tier of
Ststes. ' Another depression has' develojled aver
tha middle Rocky mountain region and light
local showers and somewhat higher temperatures
'arc reported from portion of the Panhandle
Western . Kansas -and the Southwest . Local
showers occurred also st numerous points in
Louisiana and at a email per cent of stations
in the esatera cotton belt.' Elsewhere the
westher has been f sir except that in Texas
showers were reported - from Galveston and
Loogview. Unusually warm weather continues
in the central valleys and adjoining sections
and in the western cotton belt except in
Louisiana where showers gave relief from the
best and in the extreme southeastern portion
of Texas when Gulf breexce made the beat
endurable. An area of high pressure is show
ing np over the extreme Northwest and it I
cooler in that section. :
