All SkyVue TVs are built with a rustproof powder-coated aluminum body and uses all stainless hardware. Even when in a covered area, a strong, weatherproof and sealed body is a top priority for product longevity. All SkyVue TVs are fully sealed and protected from rain, snow, humidity, salty air, dust, and insects.

SkyVue TVs have an IP55 rating; an International Standard that specifies the degree of protection against dust and water ingress. SkyVue‘s All-Weather Outdoor Televisions are built weather-tight to prevent any outdoor contaminants or moisture ingress and also to fully function in extreme climates and drastic temperatures.

While all SkyVue TV’s are designed to be mounted permanently outdoors, it is our recommendation to mount your SkyVue Fusion TV in a fully shaded area.

What are the temperature ranges for my new SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV?

Our recommended operating temperature range is -24°F to 104°F; The non-operating temperature range is -24°F to 140°F.

Can my SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV be permanently mounted outdoors?

SkyVue Fusion TV’s are manufactured with an aluminum body; unlike others that repurpose an indoor plastic bodied TV. The SkyVue Fusion TV aluminum body will withstand heat, rain, extreme cold, along with other elements from nature. All of the internal circuit boards are coated to help prevent rust from forming on the connections. With all of this technology built in, you can confidently install your SkyVue outdoor TV one time and leave it outside for year round viewing.

Will I need a mount or table stand for my SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV?

Yes, you will need to purchase a table stand or mount for the TV. You can check out all of your different mounting options including table stands by clicking on the mounts tab at the top of our website www.skyvue.com.

Can I mount this above my outdoor fireplace?

Yes, as long as you have a mantle and at least 30” between the burner box and the bottom of the TV. If you are installing a TV above a natural wood burning fireplace you might want to consider our NXG direct sun or OBX series for better heat resistance. The installation should not exceed the recommended operating or standby temperatures.

Should I purchase a cover for my SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV?

We do recommend purchasing a cover for your new SkyVue Fusion Series Outdoor TV. The cover will save you time cleaning the screen more often and it will keep it looking new for many years.

Can the SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV be mounted in portrait orientation?

All of the SkyVue Fusion TV’s are designed only for landscape orientation installation.

What are my sound options for my SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV?

The SkyVue Fusion series TV’s come standard with a total of 20 watt built in speakers. We offer an optional 40 watt weatherproof speaker bar available for all Fusion TV’s. We also offer an optional 150 watt weatherproof speaker bar for the 65” and 75” Fusion models.

How do I connect my new SkyVue Fusion Outdoor TV?

The SkyVue Fusion series outdoor TV’s come standard with HDMI, Component, Composite, and Coaxial inputs. Cables are not supplied with TV.

How can SkyVue offer more color options than other competitors?

SkyVue Outdoor TV’s are designed, fabricated and assembled in South Carolina. We are the manufacturer and all of our powder coating is done at our 166,000 sq.ft. factory, unlike most of our competitors that import fully assembled black TV’s.
