Don’t expect to hear Paris Jackson warbling songs about rainbows, unicorns or a perfect relationship.

“I don’t write happy songs,” the singer told a small crowd at the St. Regis Resort in Aspen, where she was filmed performing tunes from her recently released EP called “The Lost,” reports TMZ.

“When I do try to write a song, it usually ends up being a song about me dying,” she continued before explaining that the song “Yellow Bird” was inspired by a breakup.

“We broke up two years ago on Valentine’s Day,” she explained, “and then I wrote this song, so I hope you like it.”

“I know he won’t,” she cheekily added.

The intimate concert was celebrating designer Rebecca Minkoff’s upcoming NFT drip and Jackosn wore one of Minkoff’s designs while performing.

The daughter of Michael Jackson, 23, has seemingly moved on from her breakup. She was recently snapped at JFK airport sporting what appeared to be a very large hickey on her neck.

She had briefly been in New York, with older brother, Prince, and younger brother, Bigi, who all attended the opening night of the musical, “MJ: The Musical” on Broadway, based on the career of their late father. (After the show, Paris sent flowers to each cast member).

She has previously been linked to model Cara Delevingne.

The two sparked rumors when they debuted matching tattoos and were seen looking cozy at Joan Collins’ Oscar bash.

Jackson, whose mother is Debbie Rowe – has said previously that she doesn’t label her sexuality while Delevingne has come out as pansexual.

The singer has also branched out into acting, and will be seen on the FX anthology series “American Horror Story: Double Feature.”
