Acura NSX

Acura NSX has returned after a 12-year hiatus. While the previous-generation car was an elemental midengine, rear-wheel-drive sports car, the new NSX is a much more complex machine, boasting all-wheel drive, a twin-turbo V6 and a trio of electric motors for a full gasoline/electric hybrid experience. It is Acura’s flagship car, competently competing with the world’s best.

The new NSX is a rival for cars like the McLaren and Porsche 918 Spyder in terms of engineering, and runs with supercars like the Audi R8, Porsche 911 Turbo, and McLaren 500 and 600 Series.

With its twin Turbo V6 Gas/Electric Hybrid drive, boasting nearly 600hp, this is a precise, fast car that drives smaller and lighter than its curb weight suggests. The NSX is also a car that flatters its driver, whether novice or experienced.

The cabin is upscale, with many surfaces covered in leather and/or Alcantara. The controls on the center console are arranged in a “Simple Sports Interface” and designed to limit distractions.

A head-turner where-ever arrives, it is comfortable and accommodating, as it is powerful and thrilling. A perfect treat for a jaunt through downtown, or the open roads of the Hill Country.
