T33151 5-Speed HEPA Hanging Air Filter Equipped with smart sensors, the T33151 adjusts its speed using HEPA and carbon filters in response to detected poor air quality. The T33151 Large Advanced Hanging Air Filter effectively removes fine dust particles from the room that may not be captured by a standard dust collection system.
The air filter offers a range of five air flow speeds, ranging from 800 to 1400 CFM. To navigate through these speeds, simply press the Fan Speed button on either the control panel or the provided remote control.
The acronym HEPA stands for high efficiency particulate air. The HEPA filter within the T33150 effectively traps small, harmful particles like sawdust, pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, all the way down to 0.3 microns. It holds a MERV-17 rating at 99.97%.
For context, the diameter of a human hair falls between 50–70 microns, illustrating that the T33150 collects particles 230 times smaller!
The built-in filter quality monitor offers a quick check on the status of the primary HEPA filter and the secondary activated carbon filter (responsible for trapping odors). A blue light on either the control panel or remote control signals normal operations, while a red light indicates the need for filter replacement.
When operational, the Grizzly bear head on the control panel serves as an air quality indicator. It illuminates green for optimal air quality, shifts to orange when increased filtering is required, and turns red when maximum fan speed is recommended.
The air filter allows for timed performance settings of 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. At the end of the selected time, the air filter will automatically shut off.
The Auto function detects current air quality and adjusts filtration speed accordingly. When active, the Auto indicator shines blue on both the control panel and remote.
Similar to all Grizzly air filters, the T33151 is backed by a 1-year warranty.
