Supply Chain + Supplier Matching Program

Through funding provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, the North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP) is providing supply chain sourcing opportunities and supplier matching services at no cost to North Carolina manufacturers. This program is being administered by NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions for the NCMEP network.

The objective of the program is to to expand existing capabilities to build a supply chain network that relies more on local and national suppliers to strengthen the U.S. manufacturing industry resilience.

The ManufacturedNC.com database is an online resource to find local suppliers! Registering online offers North Carolina manufacturers a FREE way to expand visibility and reach new customers. Plus, manufacturers with a profile on the ManufacturedNC.com website are automatically contacted with potential new business opportunities when supply chain requests are received through the NCMEP Supplier Matching Program.

Tracks-CN Logo
The goal of the TRACKS-CN program is to facilitate the sharing of best practices about how to develop community college students’ knowledge and skills in robotics/automation and cybersecurity. It also promotes awareness of organizations and resources that connect students to work-based learning opportunities.

The TRACKS-CN digital badge for technicians within the realm of Operational Technology (OT) in robotics/automation/mechatronics (RAM).

Badge Competencies
The 11 competencies covered by the badge were selected from a list of 54 competencies published by the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE).  The 11 competencies tie to advanced manufacturing.

NCMEP operates as an alliance of complementary programs that have strong standalone missions focusing on enhancing the performance of manufacturing in North Carolina. The leaders of the key statewide outreach partner programs determine joint efforts and identify innovative ways to further help companies through participation on the NCMEP Advisory Board.
