against All authority is one of the oldest multigaming team in France, having been founded in 2000. It was mostly known for its Counter Strike team in the early 2000s. Through the years, the team won many titles, including the 2003 QuakeCon's Quake III Arena CTF tournament, the 2006 CPL Italy's Counter Strike tournament, and the 2010 BlizzCon's World of Warcraft tournament.

The team has currently seven sections:

Besides that, aAa's website is also designed since 2004 as an information site which covers the news of various games, both in France and international areas.

The aAa.SCII line-up was announced early in March 2010 in order to coincide with the release of the StarCraft II beta, and had several well-known French players from both StarCraft: Brood War and Warcraft III. Many of those players have been French national representatives in their respective games and the squad sees the revival of the StarCraft branch of aAa, picking up where the SC1 squad was discontinued. Since the release of the game, aAa has signed a few European players to be as competitive as possible on the international scene.

During the months following the release of the game, aAa positioned itself as one of the two strongest French teams, shoulder to shoulder with Millenium. The team relied particularly on SarenS, who was considered the best French player at the time, and on Nerchio, the Polish prodigy. However, the team suffered managerial problems after Spirit Lan 8 in January 2011. These tensions eventually caused the departure of the three majors French players, SarenS, KenZy, and FremAN, for Cyber Nation. Meanwhile, aAa's staff dismissed TuZeR and ParanOid. As a result, Nerchio, kAra and the coach Kaoru decided to leave the team, leaving Mak0z as the only player left.

The new line-up was revealed in April 2011 during the Gamers Assembly. It featured ex-Team Sypher players such as Reave, Feast, Nbs and Fargo as well as the up-and-coming Swiss Zerg player biGs. BoKuRa was announced as the new manager, replacing Kaoru.

• On January 27, aAa published an article summarizing 2014 and announcing changements in the line-up for 2015 : Divi and NeOAnGeL who stopped to play StarCraft 2 leave whereas Armax and Twine join the team.
• On June 4, BsK announces he leaves aAa after three years in the team.
• On August 2, Chubz leaves the team.

• January 9, BlitzTao joins the team.
• March 9, DnS joins, together with Nuit Blanche coach, Only. The Hope and Pro sections are merged.
• May 8, Spartfire joins.
• June 6, Chubz joins.
• September 1, MiNiCrow joins.
• November 23: BlitzTao leaves

• February 4, Divi and PsiOniC are promoted in the main roster while Neekz and Origine leave the team.
• July 25, FremAN and Ixion retire.
• November 28, Eeel leaves the SC2 roster and joins aAa.Dota2.
• December 1, MarineLorD leaves the team and joins Millenium.

• March 5, AureS, MiNiMaTh, Wolf and Soey leave the team, leaving effecto alone in the line-up. He is expected to practice in the Type Gaming team house for two months, then to come back in France and to become a professional player, alongside a new recruit to be announced.
• May 24, ziDwaiT replaces Mac_Coy as the manager of aAa and BsK joins the team.
• November 12, effecto leaves for Team eXtensive
• November 20, Sparte Legion merges with aAa. NeOAnGeL, MarinLorD, MiNiMaTh, Freman, Origine and Eeel join as the pro team. A talent team named '*aAa* Hope' also joins from Sparte Legion.

• January, aAa sign ParanOid.
• March, SarenS, KenZy and FremAN announce they signed up for Cyber Nation. TuZeR and ParanOid are dismissed. Nerchio, kAra and Kaoru leave the team of their own will.
• April, mak0z put his career aside for an undetermined period because of IRL issues, and therefore leaves the team
• April, aAa signs Fargo, Nbs, Feast, Reave, and biGs as players, and BoKuRa as coach
• June, aAa signs SLiDeR.
• June 30, aAa fires Fargo.
• August, Nbs leaves the team, while aAa signs Wolf and effecto. At the end of the month, SLiDeR's contract is ended, because he competed in a clan war with another team while still in contract with aAa. He is replaced by Soey.
• September 2011, biGs leaves the team and joins mousesports.
• October, Feast and Reave leave the team, alongside the manager BoKuRa.
• November 20, AureS and MiNiMaTh join the team.

• March, the against All authority StarCraft II team is formed.
• September, aAa sign kAra.
• October, kAra and Kaoru takes 1st at the DSRack Lan #3 2v2 tournament.
• November, SarenS finishes 2nd at the Insomnia 41 Lan.
• December, Nerchio and mak0z joins aAa.
• December, SarenS and TuZeR take respectively 1st and 2nd place at eOSL Winter 2010.
