On behalf of Ruble Cattle Services and the Tennessee Simmental Association, we would like to welcome you to this year’s fall sale. I made the commitment nine years ago to focus on putting the best set of Simmental and Sim Angus cattle together for this sale to promote Simmentals in TN. I work on this locally and by attending national events featuring TN members. Our weeklong trip this summer to visit TN Simmental breeders and supportive out-of-state consignors has paid big dividends. We have several nationally recognized pedigrees and genetics, and this set is the highest quality from top to bottom ever offered. Customers and the buyers from past sales know we have good cattle consigned and because of this we are able to send cattle all the way south to Florida and as far west as Utah. We know you have a choice of many sales but this one has it all. Many of this year’s open heifers will prove to be competitive at regionals and nationals. Come to the sale this year or give us a call, and I promise you will be glad you did. We put a ton of work into this sale but don’t think we do all of it without help! Thank you first and foremost to Koty and Blake Darnell. We exclusively use Koty and Blake to make our sale tags. They are the best in the business. We love supporting those who support us and we give them as much business as possible, it is a win-win. They donate countless hours to me in support of the fall sale while working their jobs, running their business, and most importantly raising their beautiful young family! Secondly, I’d like to thank Emily Ivey for helping us send out messages to connect with the membership and the board of directors in TN. Finally, this sale wouldn’t be possible without the Wilson family. They always give us great lots and support. They are truly what the fall sale is all about. They are a close-knit caring family who have quietly grown one of the best Simmental herds in TN and for that matter the entire southeast. I’ve had the pleasure of watching their grandkids grow and every year they work diligently to ratchet up the quality of their program. I love doing state sales because of the families involved and the friendships my family and I make. This year we have a spike of lots from first- and second-year consignors who are showcasing their cattle and genetics to you. Please take time to walk around the barn and meet everyone. It’s my favorite part of the TN State Sale. I would also like to thank all the long-time consignors who keep the sale going. It’s been a great ride the last nine years. One last item is Martin Farms is celebrating 50 years of Simmental genetics. They are consigning a special lot to the TN Fall Showcase Sale. TERMS OF SALE

All cattle will sell under the suggested sale terms and conditions of the American Simmental Association, available at the clerk’s desk on sale day. Cash or check is required before or immediately following the sale before cattle are released for load out. Registration certificates will not be transferred until any outstanding balance is paid in full. Ownership will be transferred at the seller’s expense. Buyers must provide proper name and address for transfer.
