Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Can i use Samsung 960 Evo (Mz-V6E250Bw) M.2 (2280) - PCIe 3.0 x4 NVM Express SSD in my ProBook 450 G4?
i have seen difference in some m.2 ssd.
both of them are ssd m.2 2280 but have different connector.
and How much RAM does a 256gb SSD need to run well?
Please help me to choose the right SSD

You can put max16gb total with 8gb sticks in two slots. Get modules of the exact same configuration, voltage and speeds as given in Manual and each other, preferably same brand.
M.2 2280 SSD:
You can ONLY put in SATA type (3 prong, 2 slots in the gumstick). This M.2 drives at normal SATA speed. M.2 SATA Samsung 850 Evo SSD is good one.
NVMe PCIe type has 2 prongs, 1 slot in its end as you can see it in the picture. This is not compatible with your model. This type M.2 is way faster than SATA type though.
