BYD will unveil the Yangwang U9 on February 25: an electric sports car with a range of 700 km and acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds

The Yangwang brand, which is owned by BYD, is preparing to release its electric sports car.

Here's What We Know

The model will be called U9 (Ultimat 9). According to the official invitation of the manufacturer, the electric car will be shown at an event in China in a week - February 25.

It is known that the car will be equipped with four motors with a capacity of 240 kW each, which in total gives 960 kW or 1287 hp. The U9 will have a top speed of 300 kilometres per hour. From 0 to 100 km/h the novelty will be able to accelerate in less than 2 seconds. As for the power reserve, it will be in the region of 700 kilometres (according to the CLTC cycle).
