G35 Coupe Before and After Tein 350z H-tech Drop with PICS

Thought I would add to the collection of before/after shots of dropped g's. What I have here is a 2007 with stock sport suspension before and with Tein 350z h-techs after. The after pics were taken the day after I installed the h-techs. Not sure if they will settle more or not...

IMO this is a nice conservative drop. Not slammed, but lower than stock height for sure. With my wider wheels on the way(19x10.5+24 rears and 19x9.5+17 fronts) I figured this was a good solution to both lower the G and not have to roll my fenders.

Its only been a few days, but so far I would say ride quality has slightly improved. It doesn't seem to be so harsh over bumps as the stockers were. Haven't driven it hard enough around corners to judge how it corners just yet.

maybe it needs more time to settle more. the drop is very subtle from your pics. but the car is looking clean!

make sure you get an alignment after you put on your new wheels... and remember to keep an eye on your tires and flip them as necessary. be prepared for inner tire wear to to negative camber.

you need a springmount mod in the rear, doesn't look like it dropped at all back there

I was thinking about doing that. Wanted to see what it was like without doing that mod. I keep hearing people say "it will settle a little bit", but I don't understand how a spring can settle...

The spring doesn't settle, but the rubber pieces(springmount) at the top of the springs in the rear can "settle" because the new spring molds into the rubber somewhat. I still don't think its going to settle enough though

Ahh I get it now, was going to say, must be some crappy springs if the springs keep getting lower as time goes on lol

I would agree that it probably won't settle any noticeable amount anymore. The springmount mod looks super easy. Once my new wheels get here I"ll see where I'm at and go from there

Yup like others said. It looks like a very subtle drop.

how much would you say the 350z H-techs dropped the G? did you buy new struts? did you buy a camber kit?
