Anyone have any thoughts on Simpleum Safe (encryption)?

Hi all,

I'm looking at Simpleum Safe encryption software, as it appears to check all the boxes in terms of what I need ( simple interface - encrypts - viewable docs inside the safe when open).

That said, I can't find much in the way of real reviews on it. And the number of users seems very small.

Curious if anyone knows the app or has any thoughts on it? I was also thinking about Hider 2, but Simpleum seems to be a bit more flexible in working with files when the safe is open.

I don't have any specific comments but in general, two of the most important things to consider for encryption software is what algorithm is used and who developed the software.

Rather than go into a lot of detail here, Bruce Schneier is always a good source for security and privacy issues. For example:
