790GX board cut it at the knees but 430MHz isn't a bad OC. It almost caught up to @Yea_boom's Q6600.

8370 @4.8

I gave my 4790k an lil bump to 4.6

not quite 5ghz but am testing to see what I can get the volts down to on my 8370... so far went from 1.58v stable on core to 1.53v stable on core by feeding the motherboard more power instead so:

i5-4690K @ 4.4GHz with 1.25v, max stable I can get with this CPU is 4.6GHz @ 1.27v but VRM temps are too high for my liking, I may run the bench again at 4.6GHz later.

8350 @ 5.1

I love seeing my 8350 kicking some tail in the multi threaded scores but get a whooping from the single core scores. looking forward to zen 16 core server parts and them being able to keep up with this old workhorse.

did anyone ever plot this data on a graph ?
cpu name vs top score ?

This is impossible. Kaby Lake is the only thing in the history of the universe, that reaches 5GHz...

what about just over 5Ghz

Quite a bit of voltage needed to get there too.

Yea, I could probably Dial the voltage back a little bit. 1.5V not stable but will post, 1.52v stable. maybe 1.51v Happy? Temps still good at this voltage. she doesn't go over 72c
