LM5170-Q1: LM5170-Q1

Part Number: LM5170-Q1

Hello,

my application requires the use of LM5170-q1 to work as a boost-buck topology.

For automotive battery transients. (eg cold crank)

As the project requires the digital pwm control from external micro controller, I am suing LM5170-Q1,  (firstly as boost, and then buck topology). The module will be part of a ACE box.

Any suggestions on using this current controller, or opting for any other controller. ?? Will the circuit need change in few sub-components every time I need to work for boost-buck

I have a block diagram to describe the layout ...

Regards

  • It's not very clear what is your power requirement/specs. What is the PWM signal from the microcontroller? Is it a PWM control signal for current level to be delivered, or the PWM signal for controller the power switches?

In order to better support you, would you please send detailed request to youhao.xi@ti.com?

    Thanks
