The U-17 World Cup will be held every year

FIFA has decided to change the frequency of the FIFA U-17 World Cup tournaments.

Previously, the junior World Cups were held every two years, but now they will be held annually.

It has also been decided to increase the number of participants from 24 to 48 teams.

This innovation will come into effect from the year 2025. Additionally, FIFA announces that Qatar will host the next 5 consecutive U-17 World Cups.

Last year, the U-17 World Cup was won by the German national team, who defeated France in the final.
