Image title | BRIDGEPORT, Calif. - The Unmanned Little Bird (ULB) is tested and evaluated by the Marine Corps personnel of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, during exercise Javelin Thrust-09 on June 16, 2009. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES), headquartered in New Orleans, La., conducts exercise Javelin Thrust-09 at six locations throughout the western U.S. June 6 - 20. This combined arms exercise will showcase a wide range of combat and logistics capabilities, and allow leaders to assess the operational readiness of participating units. More than 2000 reserve and active component Marines, and members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and Air National Guard, will train simultaneously in support of this exercise at the following locations: Hawthorne Army Weapons Depot, in Hawthorne, Nev.; Naval Air Station Fallon, in Fallon, Nev.; Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, Calif.; Ft.
