This 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV was acquired by the seller in 2001, and a refurbishment of the bike beginning in 2020 included refinishing the bodywork, reupholstering the seat, overhauling the engine, rebuilding the CDI module, Mikuni carburetors, and gauges, and replacing the wiring harness, rims, tires, and braking components. Power is provided by a 748cc two-stroke triple mated to a five-speed transmission, and the bike is finished in two-tone green with white accents over a double-cradle frame. Features include a chrome three-into-three exhaust system, oil injection, a kick starter, a chrome front fender, a front disc brake, wire-spoke wheels, adjustable shocks, and both center and side stands. This H2 Mach IV is now offered at no reserve with a tool kit, an owner’s manual, and an Ohio title in the seller’s name.

No Reserve: 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV

The bodywork was refinished in dark metallic green with lime green and white accents as part of the 2020 refurbishment that also included powder-coating the frame and reupholstering the two-up seat in black vinyl. Brightwork consists of the front fender, rear grab bar, mirrors, and turn signals while additional features include a 4.4-gallon fuel tank, folding passenger foot pegs, a storage compartment in the rear cowl, and both center and side stands.

No Reserve: 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV

Wire-spoke wheels fitted with replacement 19″ front and 18″ rear rims are mounted with Dunlop Gold Seal and Dunlop Roadmaster tires showing 2020 and 2021 date codes. Suspension consists of a conventional telescopic fork as well as dual preload-adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm. A piston steering damper spans the right fork leg and the frame. Stopping power is provided by a single disc up front and a drum at the rear. As part of the 2020 refurbishment, the front caliper was rebuilt and the master cylinder, front brake pads, and rear brake shoes were replaced.

No Reserve: 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV

The chrome handlebar fronts Nippon Seiki instrumentation that consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and a central bank of indicator lights. The five-digit odometer shows 72 miles, all of which have been ridden by the seller. The gauges were rebuilt as part of the refurbishment and the odometer was reset, therefore total mileage is unknown.

No Reserve: 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV

The air-cooled 748cc two-stroke triple was factory rated at 74 horsepower and is equipped with triple 30mm Mikuni carburetors, oil injection, a kick starter, and a chrome three-into-three exhaust system. Work in 2020 included rebuilding the carburetors, crankshaft, and CDI module as well as replacing the wiring harness, bearings, seals, pistons, and rings.

No Reserve: 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-plate wet clutch, a five-speed transmission, and a drive chain.

A tool kit and an owner’s manual are included in the sale.

The Ohio title is listed as a duplicate.
