The Accenture Leadership Symposium (ALS) provides students from The University of Texas at Austin with an opportunity to build core leadership skills needed to excel in any workplace. You’ll learn how to identify and grow your unique strengths, master diverse social and working styles, and thrive in any team environment. As a participant, you’ll work directly with Accenture executives and learn from their unique work experiences. Prior to the ALS program session in August, you will be matched with an Accenture buddy to learn more about Accenture. Over the summer, participants will have a chance to get to know each other and their buddies through the ALS Summer Social Series.

All components of the application must be submitted by 11:59pm on April 9th.

 

EXPECTATIONS

  • Selected applicants will be invited to a virtual discussion with a member of the Accenture campus recruiting team. You will hear from us within two weeks of the application deadline with a status update. Please be actively checking your email inbox for an email from us, as it will contain information on next steps and scheduling your candidate discussion.
  • As a condition of acceptance into ALS, all participants must commit to attending the one-day ALS session in August and, at minimum, two of the three summer socials. No exceptions will be allowed, so please schedule accordingly. Further event details will be shared out closer to the event.
  • ALS participants, who successfully create a talent profile with Accenture
  • and meet basic qualifications for our analyst programs, will receive an invitation to 1st round interviews with Accenture during the Fall 2021 recruiting season.

  •  ALS Summer Socials Series: These one-hour evening sessions will be held virtually in late May, June, and July.
    • Wednesday, May 26th
    • Wednesday, June 23rd
    • Wednesday, July 28th
  • ALS Leadership Program: Monday, August 23, 2021

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be an active UT student graduating between December 2022 and May 2024.
  • Applicants may be from any college within The University of Texas at Austin.

 

APPLICATION

  • Applicants must submit a one-page (1) resume and a personal statement in this online portal.
  • Your personal statement should answer the three following questions. Please keep your total response to 500 words or less.

–        What do you wish to accomplish as a leader?

–        How do you think ALS can help you achieve your leadership goals?

–        How do you anticipate your leadership skills will help you succeed in a consulting environment?

 

All applications are due by 11:59pm on the application due date (4/9/2021). Please combine your one-page resume and personal statement into one Word document, with the resume first and personal statement second. Please name your Word file in the follow naming convention: “FirstName_LastName.” This formatting helps us review your application more easily, so it’s quite important you follow this format exactly as it is laid out here.
