The insulation pack smalls while remaining incredibly light.  For added protection the shell is made from microfiber impregnated with silicone making it water and wind resistant while remaining breathable.  To ensure you stay warm, the Wild Things Parka used A high stand-alone collar design, fully insulated hood, Velcro® wrist closures, and shock cord hem all working together to retain core body heat.  The added 330 denier Cordura® abrasion resistant panels on the elbows keeps this jacket durable. Condition Guide

Surplus is real military gear and the exact conditions may vary.  We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a more clear description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. 

Grade 1 Like New:  out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks. 

Grade 2 Used : What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use and has a lot of life left. Some items may have stains, writing, color fading, repairs, and or surface rust on them.  We found that up to a small 1/4” hole or fray does not repair well and do not affect the gears performance.  

Grade 3 Excessive Use:  This gear can still be used but needs some repair.  These Happy Jackets will have a slice or rip 6" or longer and will need repair or may show heavier stains.  They will have functional zippers and will make a great jacket once the repair has been done.
