Description:
This set of 20 stocks includes natural accessions collected from a range of habitats all over the world and the sequenced Columbia-0 lab strain for comparison. Students can design their own experiments to explore responses to different environmental conditions in a range of plants adapted to life in different environments.
Growth Requirement: at least two weeks cold treatment (stratification) after planting is suggested for optimal germination, some accessions also require a cold treatment to induce flowering (vernalization), download the information sheet for details of stratification and vernalization requirements for each accession
