Christina Aguilera knows how to bring it in the makeup department, but lately she’s been taking a series of bare-faced photos—and looking amazing in the process.

Xtina just shared several pics on social media of herself getting pierced sans makeup, and she’s glowing. “Forgot how much I love getting pierced....so euphoric for me,” she captioned the photos. “Wonder what else I should get done again.”

In one close-up, Christina holds a mirror and checks out the action. Her hair is swept back and her freckles are on full display, and she looks gorgeous.

Late last month, Christina did a stunning makeup-free photo shoot for Paper, looking almost unrecognizable. Xtina said in the interview that the whole experience was “liberating.”

"I've always been someone that obviously loves to experiment, loves theatrics, loves to create a storyline and play a character in a video or through stage," she told Paper. "I'm a performer, that's who I am by nature. But I'm at the place, even musically, where it's a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty."

Still, Christina made it clear to Paper that she has zero plans to totally ditch her glam look. "I mean, I'm a girl that likes a beat face, let's not get it twisted," she said.

Xtina isn’t the only celeb who has gone bare-faced lately. Real Housewives star Kim Zolciak-Biermann posted a makeup-free shot of herself on Instagram in February, saying that she feels “beautiful” that way.

Jessica Alba also showed off her fresh-faced look on Instagram in February after visiting her esthetician, while former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe took a makeup-less selfie in January after starring on Broadway for two months

Clearly, makeup isn’t for everyone and, even if you love it, some days it can just feel like a hassle. While the choice to wear makeup (or not) is ultimately up to you, it's still nice to know that you’re in good company.
