Just purchased this unit, exact model, from another source. The electrical cord is about FOUR INCHES long and due to the way the plug is, it will not plug directly into an electrical outlet. It MUST be used with a heavy duty extension cord.

I just measured the one i got, 3.9.2021 and it measured9 inches from case to plug. the plug is a 2 prong also, no ground.

Asked twice and answer didn't address question: How long is the CORD (this isn't asking about an extension cord, but the cord on the unit)?

My only disadvantage of a battery operated one is, depending how big the job is, your battery might not make it all the way through. If you forget to charge the battery, you have to wait until it charges before use. 

I'm in the market to buy a corded one for the convenience of lasting power until I'm finished

cost is one, i live in a mobile home and an extension cord will work fine for me. This is an excellent lightweight blower, with alot of power for its size. Great deal for the price.

Little electric blower

when this Sun Joe all purpose electric blower 1st  arrived I didn't have very high hopes for it. that was until I opened the box and put it together. 1st thing I noticed was how light it was. I have a bad back and had no extra pain for using it so that alone is a huge plus. the main thing I was blown away by was how much power it had to get the job done. I decided to buy this blower after hurricane Laura hit and there was a ton of debris to get cleaned up. this small blower got it all cleaned up in no time at all. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is want to get the job done with out having to over do yourself.

I bought this blower to deal with the leaves in my back yard. The attention needed in my enclosed backyard needed a light duty blower. However, this little $17 blower was more than delightful! I got the leaves in a pile and I could finally see the grass again. It is perfect for lightweight work around the yard. Also, I would not hesitate to put it to work on a larger scale, I just have to get a couple of extension cords. Thank you for an excellent and affordable product.

Side note: For my fellow consumers with allergies; don’t forget to wear a mask and safety goggles. I tested my blower without my safety gear and my allergies kicked me in the face!
