It’s not yet spring, but already Sienna Miller is bringing the sunshine vibes to 2024. On the front row at the Chloé autumn/winter 2024 show last Thursday, the 42-year-old, who just welcomed her second child, looked enviably good. That golden, freckled skin; the perfect blonde hair styled in tousled waves… naturally, we took a deep dive into her beauty and wellbeing routine in search of ways to emulate her look.

The hair

Is there anyone on earth with better hair than Miller? We’ll wait. Hairstylist (and Vogue contributing editor) Sam McKnight is behind her recent array of beachy blonde looks. “Sienna has naturally beautiful hair,” he tells Vogue. “For the Chloé show, I just wanted to enhance her natural texture and create a few more waves here and there, making sure each one was defined and frizz-free with my Dressed to Kill cream.” A spritz of his aptly-named Cool Girl texturising spray, and Sienna was good to go.

As for her buttery blonde colour: Miller sees the queen of blonde, Nicola Clarke, whose client list also includes Kate Moss, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet and Madonna. Clarke is a master at creating sun-kissed locks, working with the natural tones already in the hair to create colour that adds luminosity to the face and, crucially, looks like it’s meant to be there. “I try to emulate what the sun would do naturally,” she tells me. “Sometimes I balayage her hair, but a lot of the time I do foils. When I do foils, I always make sure to balayage the ends to create the bleach blonde boho look that Sienna rocks so well.”

With freckles scattered across the bridge of her nose and a smooth, even-toned complexion, Miller’s skin certainly wasn’t giving “tired mum” on the front row. While she has confessed to “cheating” by putting on a little fake tan on to make her skin look glowy, she also has regular facials. As well as seeing facialist Jasmina Vico, who helps her clients to look after their gut as well as their skin health, Miller also sees Keren Bartov at her clinic in Notting Hill. A rigorous 90-minute treatment (starting from £400) that combines a multitude of modalities, such as IPL, radiofrequency, ultrasound, lasers and microneedling, Bartov’s treatments work on several layers of the skin, boosting collagen, tightening, lifting and ensuring even tone.

Like the rest of us, Sienna also swears by certain skincare products in between appointments, and has revealed some of her favourites to her make-up artist, Wendy Rowe. As a “total lip balm junkie”, her go-to is the Macrene Actives High Performance Lip Filler, which employs hyaluronic acid, peptides and antioxidants to nourish and plump the lips, plus she also loves Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream for the same purpose. To keep her skin exfoliated and glowing, she occasionally uses Natura Bissé’s Diamond Glyco Extreme Peel.

Sienna has worked with the aforementioned Rowe for many years – the pair have made make-up magic time and time again. When Miller attended Wimbledon last summer, Rowe created the ultimate bronzed complexion courtesy of Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Bronzer in 2 Medium and her Beauty Skin Foundation in Warm Chaud. Paired with subtle, blue eye-enhancing brown liner and a nude lip, Miller looked dazzlingly beautiful.

The body (and mind)

When Miller was interviewed for her appearance on US Vogue’s winter 2024 cover last year, she had just attended a prenatal yoga class. While she has said she’s not one to be “regimented when it comes to exercise”, if past interviews are anything to go by, yoga has always been Sienna’s go-to workout. Some of her favourite practitioners include Halle Becker, a horse-riding hippy who offers virtual classes, and Jivamukti in West London.
