Tuba Büyüküstün Will Work with UNICEF for Children!

Tuba Büyüküstün, a successful cinema and TV actress is becoming "Goodwill Ambassador" for UNICEF.  Büyüküstün will be one of UNICEF's Goodwill Ambassadors working for child rights.

Working for children who constitute the most vulnerable group in every case of tragedy around the world since 1946, UNICEF is an organization that engages in collaboration with opinion leader celebrities with respect to social responsibility and carries out such collaborations in the most systematic way. Today, many issues can get the attention and significant initiatives are launched towards the solution through the collaborations with those persons having a significant mass influencial power both in their own countries and around the world.

One of these persons is Tuba Büyüküstün. UNICEF has decided to work in collaboration for children around the globe with Tuba Büyüküstün, one of the most successful young actresses in Turkish cinema. From now on, after her inauguration as a Goodwill Ambassador in May, Tuba Büyüküstün will engage in a number of joint activities with UNICEF Turkey. Within the framework of goodwill ambassadorship, she will raise concerns over child issues and create awareness towards solution. 

Tuba Büyüküstün's contribution to the projects of UNICEF 

UNICEF Turkey is working towards protection of children and seeks support in many areas including pre-school education, justice for children, foster families for destitute children, early marriage, child labour and especially protection and support for children at hard times such as the recent tragic mine accident in Soma that grieved whole country and Syrian crisis considered as one of the biggest tragedies in history. Tuba Büyüküstün will participate in these projects as the Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

Mother of two and well-known across a vast region stretching from Balkans to Middle East, Büyüküstün states: "Above all, it is a great honor for me to be member of UNICEF family as a mother. Children are always innocent, no matter where they live. They are all our children regardless of their religion, language, ethnicity and gender. 

And I think it is the responsibility of everyone to create a world where all children can have equal opportunities. At this point, we as celebrities should play a major role. I am looking forward to giving my best to UNICEF for the good of victimized children around the globe and coming to their help under this cause.
