Gerald Albani 1955-2023
WARREN – Gerald Albani, 67, of Warren, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 6, 2023, with his wife and children by his side.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1955, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Eugene and Julia A. Ewanick Albani.
Gerald was a 1974 Warren Western Reserve graduate, where he lettered in football and baseball. He attended and played baseball and football at Otterbein College. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Kent State University, where he graduated with cum laude honors. He was employed as a postmaster for the U.S. Post Office and was an instructor at Trumbull Business College.
Gerald was a member of Believers Church. He enjoyed bible reading, swimming, exercising and sports, but most importantly, Gerry lived for his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Leslie; daughters, Rebecca N. (Richard) Whittaker, Leah C. (Noah) Gilger, Rachel E. (Brandon) Lenzmeier and Gina N. Albani; son, Jeremy P. (Joanna) Albani; and grandchildren, Miranda, Graham, Levi, Lainey, and Aurelia. He is also survived by his father, Gene Albani; brothers, Mark Albani and Eugene Albani (Maryann); sisters, Lisa Albani, and Maryann (Scott) Jones along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia A. Ewanick Albani; and brother, Greg Albani.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren. Family and friends can call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
