The Promethean ACTIVTABLE-S ActivTable is an interactive table (shorter legs) with a 46-inch HD LCD touch-sensitive display that supports up to six students at one time. It includes extensive educational activities, an image bank and reporting tools. ActivTable offers integrated speakers, a cover and wheels as standard - allowing the ActivTable to be easily moved. In addition, ActivTable includes a suite of learner tools (web browsers, virtual keyboards, mathematics tools and musical instruments). The ActivTable creates a flexible, inclusive learning environment for students of all comprehension levels and empowers students to develop higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills by fostering collaboration. Teachers can easily modify some of the included activities to suit learning objectives and teaching style. In addition to the activities included with the ActivTable, teachers can create new activities using the ActivTable Activity Builder on any computer away from the ActivTable. The ActivTable Activity Builder is a FREE web-based application, providing an easy to use step-by-step interface. Teachers create activities from scratch based on themed templates or customize a starter activity. Activity template themes include sequencing, sorting and categorization, labeling, timelines and pairing.
