Seal was born in February 1963 in London and is a musician, singer and British composer. His full name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel.

Seal emerged from the house music scene in the early British 90, when he composed the lyrics and the music hit “er”, the techno artist Adamski, with whom he became the number one. Through this work, Seal got a contract to record his first solo album, “Seal”. His first single was “Crazy” and Seal’s debut album was so well received by the public which has sold over three million copies.

After participating in a tribute album to Jimi Hendrix, Seal went to live in Los Angeles, where he worked on his second album, “Seal II” and which included the song “Prayer for the dying”. One year after the album’s release, the song “Kiss from a Rose” was chosen to appear on the soundtrack of the movie “Batman Forever,” which earned Seal for number one on the U.S. charts and became one of their biggest hits.

Seal performed a version of “Fly Like an Eagle” by Steve Miller Band, version was included on the soundtrack of the movie Space Jam. Seal then returned to the studio to record the album “Human Being”, which Seal takes a more soulful, adapted to changing times.

In 2006, Seal released “One night to remember”, a live CD + DVD recorded during their concert in Dusseldorf with an orchestra of 52 musicians. In this work, along with 14 hits and extended versions symphony includes Brahms’ lullaby performed in German and English, dedicated especially to his son Henry, from his relationship with supermodel Heidi Klum.

In 2007, after a season of rest, Seal released “System”, in returning to the music scene with renewed energy but a bit closer to their roots. In “System”, Seal takes the acoustic guitar with himself has confessed that he wrote “Killer” and “Crazy”, their two biggest hits. With all this, reached dreamy atmospheres and ballads full of emotion and feeling.

His sixth studio album is titled “Soul” includes eleven songs and soul classics, each evoking its own drama, emotion and romance.

Since May 2005, is married to German model Heidi Klum with whom he has four children. After 7 years of marriage, Heidi and Seal announced their separation in a statement released by People magazine.
