Ancient Siam Bangkok Guide
One of Bangkok's lesser known attractions - Ancient Siam is a giant theme park (occupying over 200 acres) filled with beautiful recreations of Thailand’s landmarks.
In addition, they shaped the park to mimic the country of Thailand with monuments placed at the correct geographical location.
The creator of the park, Lek Viriyaphant, also contributed artwork to the famous Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya and the stunning Erawan Museum nearby.
When I saw pictures of the park, my thought was that it must have been opened recently since I’d never seen photos of it - but it’s been around since 1963! Thailand never fails to surprise me!

How to get here
Take a Grab/Taxi (most convenient) Take BTS to Kheha and then take red taxi (20-30 thb) or Grab/Taxi a short ride there

Foreigners (700 THB Adult, 250 THB child) After 4 pm (350 THB/175 THB)
You can usually find discounted tickets on Klook. For example, I bought tickets for only 300 THB (more than 50% off) and it also included tickets to Erawan Museum!
Golf Cart (350 THB first hour, 200 THB each extra hour) (Recommended) Bicycle (free) Tram (free)
Since the park is pretty large they provide with pedaled bikes or electric golf carts. The pedaled bikes are free while the golf carts are a paid option.
If it’s a hot day, we’d definitely recommend going with the golf cart but if you want some exercise and are ready to sweat the free pedaled bikes are a way to do it!
The tram is also an option but it only stops 4 times for 20 minutes on an hour and half tour, which severely limits what you’ll see here.
It’s best to arrive here at open for less crowds and to avoid the blistering afternoon sun of Bangkok.
