Chateau Bel-Air

Quinsac, Cadillac - Cotes de Bordeaux

The Story of Chateau Bel-Air (Quinsac)

In 1716, Chateau Bel-Air was born on the foothills of the Garonne river. More than 150 years later, in 1898, Martin Borderie, a wine merchant from the Correze region came to Bordeaux and acquired the Chateau. In 1921, Jean-Eugene Borie (his son) was born, and Jean-Eugene went on to devote his professional life to Bordeaux fine wines by renovating Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou and then Chateau Grand-Puy Lacoste.

In 2005, Golwinne & Roland took over the estate and in 2014 they converted to Organic farming. Roland continues to invest his efforts into the development of this estate and Bordeaux wines.
