Hi guys, just wanted to share some things I did to resurrect my t3 powered dune buggy. So first I am in the middle of carb rebuilding and while at it I decided to ditch the fugly American car heater hose someone used to connect the balance tube. First pic is using shrink tubing to create a pad for the center bracket - it took two to fill the space. I overlapped them to do so

I dug through my vw stash and low and behold a power steering hose from a new beetle is nice and snug for the connections.

a bit of Windex or something slippery will get them on the tube. , After taking this pic I found that installing them on the intake manifolds first is the easiest thing here.

There it is, no need for hose clamps. Pardon it's appearance, this motor has been in the car since '76. I have some cool stuff on the twins to post but I have to finish rebuilding them first.
