"the Ultimate 4K..." dock with DP 1.2 and HDMI 2.0? ‍♂️

It depends on how much video bandwidth you need. This dock supports DP 1.2 at 21 Gbps and older HDMI 2.0 at 18 Gbps, so 4K/60Hz max.
Forget about 4K/120Hz.

If you need a simple KVM switch for 2PCs-to-2 monitors with HDMI 2.1 at 48 Gbps, DP 1.4 at 32 Gbps for 4K/120 throughput, below is one example. I have this one at home.

For <200$, Laptop input is 20Gbps, and it may do 4K120 at 4:2:0... not bad, but DP 1.4a output or at least being able to use that front usb-c for DP 1.4a would have been nice.

A TB4 KVM dock would be nice, but KVMs with USB-C are super weird and unreliable these days for some reason. I do like www.store.level1techs.com/products/hardware but man are they pricey

Pretty weird to limit it so much to just a laptop vs a PC. I would think they would put HDMI and/or DP on both inputs. Why USB-C for one and HDMI and DP for the other? Why laptop and PC only? What about every other combination of devices someone may want to switch between?
So weird.
I was recently looking for a switcher between xbox and PC. It could be this. But, nope.

There is a large market for mid tier and lower end hubs globally, just like in other segments. Nothing unusual. The only glaring thing is BS marketing lingo and price. $200 for older video and data standards is nonsense.

And $200 is the discounted price...
