What educators are saying

easy to use- low prep activities-my students were able to complete these as morning work independently. Thank you!

Description

This packet contains 2 games and sight word practice pages and pages for assessment.

Monster Mash- Place all cards in a bucket. Students take turns pulling out a card and reading the word. If they read the word correctly they keep the card. If it is read incorrectly it goes back in the bucket. If they pull a monster mash card they place ALL of their cards back in the bucket.

Sight Word Matching-Kids can play in a small group or in pairs. I also have them use each word in a sentence as they play. These can also be used as flash cards.

Sight Word Practice- Each page has Practice it!, Find It!, Build It! and Use it! Students practice the word twice. Next they find the word in the box. There are several words in each box in different fonts, so they have to read carefully! Next they have to build the word using the letters on the bottom of the page. Finally they write a sentence using the word. Also included is a book cover if you want to bind it and make a sight word book.

Assessment- There is a sheet for students to read the words as you mark on the score sheet.

As always, thanks for your feedback :)
