Grandsanding: Dhruv Raj Singh’s 35th birthday in the Rajasthani desert
Social creatures from 65 countries ventured into the Rajasthani desert to celebrate the 35th birthday of Dhruv Raj Singh. The theme of the 48-hour party, set between the desert dunes and Khimsar Fort, was ‘Radical Self-Expression’. Dhruv’s sister Devisha Singh stole the show in silver trousers and an enormous light-up cape, arriving fashionably late to the first night of partying – where a 3am cake fight was started by Alix Mountbatten and Daisy Lines. As morning drew in, guests shuttled back to the Fort, where a row of massage therapists awaited to cure hangovers. Then followed a wild night of dancing and sand duning, ending with partygoers watching the sun rise over the horizon.
