Revel in Clarity and Wireless Freedom

Get yourself set on the road to in-ear monitoring success with Xvive’s stellar U4 Wireless In-ear Monitoring System with T9 Earphones. Sweetwater technicians know that hearing clearly makes a huge difference during rehearsals and performances. Luckily, with this system — featuring one U4R receiver, one U4T transmitter, and a pair of T9 in-ear monitors — you’ll be well equipped to play your best every gig. Designed by top IEM engineers in the USA, T9 in-ear monitors deliver high-quality sound that was previously only available to pro-level musicians. As for that crystal-clear audio, two balanced-armature Knowles drivers and custom-tuned micro tweeters ensure the high frequencies sound faithfully reproduced and the bass frequencies sound large and powerful.

Great sound anywhere: it's that simple

Getting the U4 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring system up and running is easy. Simply connect a line-level monitor mix from a return on your stage snake (or from a mixer, a music player, or a computer) to the U4T plug-on wireless transmitter, then connect the T9 in-ear monitors to the compact U4R receiver. A large volume knob makes it easy to make volume adjustments without looking down at the receiver. What's more, this system boasts five hours of battery life, over 90 feet of wireless range, and less than 5ms of latency. Of course, while the T9 in-ear monitors serve invaluably in onstage situations, they also shine in the studio for applications like tracking and mixing.

Xvive Audio U4 Wireless In-ear Monitoring System with T9 Earphones Features:

  • 2.4GHz wireless in-ear monitoring system with transmitter, receiver, and in-ear monitors
  • Plug-on transmitter with XLR input for easy connection to a return on your stage snake
  • Over 90 feet of range (with clear line-of-sight) is perfect for small clubs and venues
  • Hand-assembled and sound-isolating T9 in-ear monitors deliver clear frequencies and incredible headroom
  • In-ears are great for stage and studio use
  • Less than 5ms of latency for distraction-free performance
  • 5 hours of battery life, plenty to get you through a show
  • Large knurled volume knob makes it easy to adjust loudness without looking down at the receiver

Wow!!

At first I thought this set-up was pricey, but it's worth every penny. I bought some for live gigging as a drummer, but the rest of the band is now considering buying their own!

Don't talk to me. I'm listening to the band.

I bought mine from Sweetwater before they came with the nice case and rear buds. I use Shure SE215 buds and an old iPod case for mine.

I can't bring myself to return to using a wedge anymore. I have been using this setup for over a year now with only minor issues that are easily negated by the price and a few simple hacks.

The on/off switch on the receiver, and volume and channel knobs are too exposed so I put mine in a belt pouch made for guitar/lavaliere transmitters and a small piece of electrical tape over the switch.though the transmitter easily plugs right into the aux out of my Ui24r I prefer to Velcro it to my mic stand and run a short XLR to it. I like to turn the units off during set breaks.

IMO, the sound quality is really the job of the choice of earbud. So what you save on the system you can put into some upgraded drivers.

I've had no trouble with drop out and the advertised 5ms latency is near impossible for me to notice, standing right next to the main speakers.

If possible, have a 1/3 Oct EQ and compressor dedicated to your mix. It will take a little time for you to get them dialed in and use to them as the sound is going to be greatly different than the ambient sound with wedge monitor you may be used to.

My first IEM system!

After gigging for many years with different bands and different drummers. I have come to realize that a lot of stage noise comes from the drums. then adding wedge monitors to hear the rest of the band made it loud on stage. So I decided to try thus system with the T9 headphones. Man what a game changer for performing on stage. I got all the band member to buy a system and now its so quiet on stage plus we get a better mix going out. I think these are a great starting point that has all you need to get started. Definitely recommend!

How do they do it?

I own a Shure in-ear that I've used for years. Within the first year the clip came off and I need to gaffer tape it to the unit. That worked, but it certainly wasn't what I expected for what I had paid.
I bought the Xvive U4 when it went on sale and I couldn't be happier.
The receiver is (mostly) metal and the clip is very secure and I'm quite sure I won't have an issue.
It's a compact unit and I like that it feels secure.
The ease of use is great - I've plugged into both the monitor and effects send and the sound is outstanding,
Bought it with the upgrade in-ears which give me a very good separation between my vocals and the room.
I own several Xvive units - U2, U3 and now U4 - I'm impressed with each and every one of them and still don't know how they do these at their price points, but I'm glad they do - impressive.

I couldn't find a bad review on-line. I'm sure there may be, but I'm glad that those I watched and read gave me the confidence to make this purchase - Thank you Tim and all at Sweetwater. You make it easy to relive my gas!

Bang for the Buck

Gotta say, I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm a drummer who was tired of being tethered while playing. These are rugged, compact and sound great. I'm using them for practice sessions and tracking and so far love them.
