We celebrated our wedding at Esnes Castle on August 19, 2023 and it was a perfect success from A to Z. The natural beauty of the place and the professionalism of Mathilde, the owner of the castle directly in charge of the organization, were greatly appreciated. helped make this day an exceptional wedding. The setting is magnificent, the options multiple (in case of rain, etc.), and the gite on site (for 6 people) extremely practical. We live in Canada and so the logistics for such an event were full of surprises and unforeseen events. Mathilde's patience and dedication made all the difference. Whether it was the recommendations of excellent service providers, last minute adjustments, or his support on the big day, his enthusiasm and flexibility were greatly appreciated. Our only regret is that it passed so quickly! Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed!

Castle rebuilt at several times, it's a shame because more than 1000 years old, but it remains a beautiful castle to visit especially since there is a guided tour which tells its history and explains the modifications. It was a somewhat abandoned castle but now that it is inhabited and is rented for events and visits, I think it will be better maintained and restored.

We were able to follow a guided tour of the castle, organized by the association the friends of the castle of esnes. This visit led by a passionate guide was found to be very interesting and very enriching, both in terms of history, architecture and war technique...
