The Breguet 5967 was introduced in 2009.

The watch has an oversized ultra thin case.

While it has some of the signature features of the manufacture, such as the pomme creuse hands, coin-edge case band, straight lugs (signed "B" underneath 2 of them), guilloché dial, the watch offers an entirely new vision of the classic collection.

Indeed, the pattern of the guilloché is called Art Deco damier, reminescent of the 1930's and was used for the first time on this reference.

The design gives the impression of 3 dimensional cubes, providing a striking visual impact.

On the other side of the case, a large and beautifully constructed movement can be admired through the sapphire display back. In fact, it is a Frederic Piguet 151, which is originally a pocket watch movement.

The large size is nicely balanced by the extra thin proportions of the watch. This highly attractive ratio makes it extremely comfortable on the wrist as well as a unique offering in the Breguet's catalogue.
