Crimzon Clover is a typical sort of shoot’em up. You have Boost, Original, Time Attack, and Unlimited modes to choose from, and people can also go with a Novice version that is less challenging, the standard Arcade version, and the more difficult Arrange option. Your goal is to shoot down any enemy in your path while avoiding their own projectiles. If you’re doing well, you can trigger Break Mode to become more powerful. Fill the Break Meter again while in Break Mode, and you get a Double Break.

The Switch version has some additional elements people can take advantage of. The Arrange version is new, with a new version of each of the four modes. You also have a tate mode option, which you could use with a peripheral like the Flip Grip.

Here’s the Crimzon Clover: World EXplosion trailer, which helps better explain each of the modes by also showing clips of gameplay to illustrate what each one offers.

Crimzon Clover: World EXplosion will come to the Nintendo Switch in North America, Japan, Europe on October 29, 2020.
