Going back to when Berths 6,7 & 8 where acquired from BP ownership and brought back into use, I do remember around that time an LPG tanker using Berth 7 not to unload LPG but contaminated water after use by the oil industry and offloaded onto this particular berth, unless someone else knows any different out there can they post there comments here it would be interesting to know.

It's all fascinating stuff and nice to know the history of which there is a lot out there re: Milford Haven waterway and berths. I'll probably never get the whole hi(story) of it in my remaining years.

I was thinking the same thing as I've never seen a gas tanker on that berth. I did wonder if they'd upgraded it perhaps.

MattB did you notice that Berth 8 is not equipped for loading/unloading LPG, as it is only used by tankers for oil products cargoes, the Myklebust I assume was only berthed there while she was awaiting a move to Berth 3 which at the time was in use by another tanker, she will be on the move tonight sailing for Braefoot Bay.
