Brittany Snow Admits That Her Ex-Husband’s Reality Show Antics Were a Major Red Flag

Brittany Snow is admitting what a lot of reality TV show fans assumed — she didn’t exactly love ex-husband Tyler Stanaland‘s behavior on the first season of Selling the OC. The 38-year-old actress revealed her reaction to watching her real-estate ex act more like a single person than a married man on the Netflix show.

“What happened for me — and I won’t speak about this specifically because I think this goes with a lot of my past relationships or things that I tell my friends — which is to actually start realizing and seeing them as real people, and not this idealized version of what you thought or what you built, but who they are really,” Snow shared on the latest episode of Call Her Daddy.

Instead of being bitter about her divorce, the Pitch Perfect star admitted that she was “grateful” that the series showed off Stanaland’s true colors. Snow described it as “a neon **king sign” of a red flag — and she paid attention to those warnings. She married Stanaland at the start of the pandemic in March 2020, so everything seemed pretty rosy as newlyweds. By the time Selling the OC premiered in August 2022, which Snow did not participate in, fans had a lot of questions as to what was happening in their marriage,.

Stanaland was seen on-camera flirting with Oppenheim Group co-workers Kayla Cardona and Alex Hall. His relationship with Hall almost felt too close for comfort, especially since he wasn’t that far into his marriage with Snow. “I was not aware of a lot of things, and I’ll say that,” Snow explained to host Alex Cooper. She was in the dark about what went on during the filming, so she was “shocked” to see her husband’s actions unfold on her TV just like the rest of us. “So, I will say, what people think happened, happened.”

By September 2022, the couple revealed their separation and Snow filed for divorce in January 2023. The former duo settled their split last July, but Snow is staying positive about the good times they shared. “I think a lot of people go into relationships where someone hurts them, but I don’t regret it,” she summed up. “I don’t regret anything that happened. I loved that time that we had when we had it.”
