About this experience

The cultural center in Grimstad is located at the Hestetorvet in the heart of Grimstad.

The building features a combined theatre and cinema, as well as two smaller cinema screens.

Catilina - The cinema hall is named after the play Henrik Ibsen wrote during his stay as a pharmacist apprentice in Grimstad.

Pan - The cinema hall is named after the novel by Knut Hamsun.

Vesle Hallvard - The cinema hall is named after the children's book Kristen Stalleland from Landvik wrote in 1905.

Short Film Festival

Every year in June, the cultural center is arena for the "Kortfilmfestivalen".
