Edvard Munch's Ekely
Oslo, NorwayAbout this experience
Ekely is the place where Edvard Munch lived and worked for 28 years until his death at the age of 80 in 1944. Unfortunately, the villa was demolished in 1960, and only Munch's winter studio remains. Ekely is currently run as a foundation and offers studios for rent to artists. Open to the public on weekends in summer. The rest of the year, the studio is open to the public only during special events.
