Kevin most recently competed in the Pirelli World Challenge Series in the #88 Outlier/Scion Racing Porsche Cayman in the Touring Car, or TC class. He was not only the Team’s lead driver, but also a principal in the team in charge of race operations.
He is a well known and respected motorsports veteran and one of the highest rated automotive personalities in the United States. He is a highly sought after racer, coach, driving instructor and automotive facilitator.
Kevin’s impressive resume brings over 30 years of practical racing experience as well as formal education, and he is widely regarded as one of the top drivers and coaches in the country. He draws from direct experience racing a range of cars from Pirelli World Challenge, to Indy Lights, and Grand-Am sports car competition. Krauss, a former open wheel champion, has a wealth of knowledge from his extensive career. That coupled with his business acumen and formal education has served him well.
Over the years, Kevin has provided his driving talent and instructional expertise to: The U.S. AMG/Mercedes Driving Academy, The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, The Miles Ahead Mini Cooper School at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Skip Barber Racing School, the Autobahn Country Club, and several of the world’s greatest automotive manufacturers such as: Toyota, Cadillac, Mercedes, Infinity, Lincoln, and Volvo, along with an impressive private coaching clientele. His amiable and professional nature makes Kevin a mainstay in the U.S. motorsports and automotive landscape. Additionally, Kevin is very media savvy, having been sought after for numerous radio and television interviews, including filmed vignettes for the U.S. AMG/Mercedes Driving Academy. He also hosts the highly popular podcasts; 7th Gear Over Rev, and the 7th Gear Show.
Kevin holds a degree with honors in Business Management
