My KitchenAid Range is a Step Up

The dual burners are fantastic and burn very evenly. The oven takes 8 mins to preheat. And, the best thing of all, it's RED. What's not to love?

Convection baking is the way to go

Our cakes and cookies or to die for but one thing we always had trouble with was under baking when we bald with more than one baking sheet. Now with our new commercial style oven and convection baking our volume has tripled and bake qu’ailette is top notch.

So many options!

But the overall performance is excellent…the oven is spacious, even baking and roasting. Love the easy-glide grates. The burners have multiple control options—great design. We're also able to use our wok and cook our meals quickly and efficiently. The only difficulty has been connecting it to WiFi even though we are IT professionals. It took a lot of phone calls and patience to get connected to the person who was finally able to help us. But most people probably don't care about this feature much. We're thrilled with our range.

Everything we hoped for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my wife and I cook. We wanted gas stove but we had no gas service in our newly purchased home. So, first was the gas service install - Cost almost as much as the stove! Then we had the gas service plumbed through the basement for heat and a cloths dryer as well as our new gas stove. It was all worth it! There were doubts about how well the gas convection oven would work but it is amazing! The entire stove is everything we hoped for and we couldn't be happier. Thanks Kitchen Aid!

This range is HOT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With not one but TWO 20k BTU power burners that also convert to wok rings this range is a stir-frying-scallop-searing-meat browning delight. Add the incredibly responsive simmer functions and this is a cooks dream. Good tools are never a bad investment. For bakers the oven also steps up with proofing & pastry convention bake settings. Overall This range has features that are usually only found on higher priced stoves. We previously owned Garland and Blue Star ranges and KitchenAid has delivered a comparable cooking experience at a more affordable price. It is also a 21st century Stove with Wi-Fi connect features to preheat the oven, check the temperature and use a temperature probe. Yep this will definitely step up your cooking skills. But don’t skimp on your venting this puppy puts out some serious heat and a high powered hood is a must!

We didn't notice that this range is all about the wifi connectivity, which is fine, but it does not have a display to show temperature or time without a connected device, which is not great. Overall it is well made, works properly, and looks great.

Initial impressions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install and the rods in the front made it trivial to level. Clean lines and easy to clean. I use it frequently with my wok. I give 4/5 stars as the user interface to couple with cell phone etc is not obvious and the sticker with the QR code came off and is now lost to teh floor gremlins. I do like the cell phone / iPad application. I wonder how to get a new QR sticker or WR code display as this makes setting up teh cell phone much eaiser.

Great Features

I have had two repairman visits, and each time needed to order parts that usually take 2-3 weeks to come in. So we are waiting for a third repairman to visit to install a new burner. Hopefully it works this time.
