Biography: Peter Ustinov was a British actor, writer, and director, known for his witty humor and diverse range of roles throughout his long and illustrious career. He won two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in the films Spartacus (1960) and Topkapi (1964).

As a writer and director, Ustinov penned numerous plays, screenplays, and novels. He directed and co-wrote the film adaptation of Herman Melville's Billy Budd (1962), which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Additionally, he directed the film adaptation of his own play, Romanoff and Juliet (1961).

Ustinov was also known for his humanitarian work, particularly as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, a role he held from 1968 until his death in 2004.
