The TV showLost was one of the most recognized and famous productions of the 2000s as the series aired for six years and, although it gradually lost audience until its controversial end 13 years ago, and it is still one of the most popular series of the 21st century.

The series was a kind of phenomenon for the time: many began to consume the story in a different way and its weekly viewing became a social act, until then only seen with soccer.

For this reason, many remember the main characters of 'Lost', among them the characters Jack, Kate, John or Sawyer, the latter being one of the favorites among the audience.

Josh Holloway played the role of Sawyer in 'Lost'

After taking his first steps as a model for major brands, Josh Holloway began working as an actor in 1999, although it was in 'Lost' when he began to stand out.

In it he was like the antagonist, because he had some rivalry with Jack (Matthew Fox), but theirs became a symbiotic relationship and eventually the public ended up loving them equally as part of the same side.

During the time that Josh Holloway was filming for 'Lost', he also participated in other films such as 'Just Yell Fire' (2006) or 'Stay Cool' (2009), although the best known by the public was 'Whisper' (2007).

His career after leaving the island of 'Lost'

After the series ended in 2010, Holloway had his big break in mainstream cinema when he became the co-star of Tom Cruise in 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' (2011), and although that role had a great impact, the truth is that the actor did not have much luck in Hollywood and ended up returning to focus on work for the small screen.

Subsequently the Californian actor has starred in several series such as 'Intelligence', 'Colony' or 'Yellowstone', and although none of them has had a worldwide impact similar to 'Lost', the reality is that the actor is a very popular face on American television.

Now 53 years old, Holloway has changed since the end of 'Lost' in 2010, but he is still recognized for his role in the series.
