 When the battery is completely discharged, recharging starts immediately; however, it may take a while until the battery indicator lamp lights. The battery indicator lamp blinks while charging.  If an abnormality (e.g. increased unit temperature, or insufficient power input) occurs while charging, the battery indicator lamp may blink orange, and charging may stop.
